Senior Russian General Killed By Bomb In Moscow

On Tuesday, a tragic incident occurred in Moscow as a bomb hidden in an electric scooter claimed the life of Lieutenant General Igor Kirillov, who was in charge of Russia's Nuclear, Biological and Chemical Protection Troops. The incident took place outside an apartment building located approximately 7 km southeast of the Kremlin.

The investigative committee in Russia confirmed the death of Igor Kirillov, along with his assistant, in the explosion. The chief of the radiation, chemical, and biological protection forces of the armed forces of the Russian Federation was a highly respected figure in the military.

Photographs circulating on Russian Telegram channels depicted a scene of devastation, with a shattered entrance to a building strewn with rubble and the bodies of the victims lying in the blood-stained snow.
