Senior members of the Royal Family are said to be planning a "business as usual" approach as a new tell-all Netflix documentary is set to be released by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
The new Netflix docuseries, which has been produced at an estimated cost of £88 million, will drop on the streaming platform this Thursday, December 8.
Topics expected to be covered in the documentary include Harry's therapy following the death of Diana and his father's affair with Camilla.
But perhaps the most concerning issue set to be explored surrounds allegations of racism in the Royal Family - something Harry and Meghan alleged in their shock interview with Oprah Winfrey in 2021.
As the family braces for further claims, Royal Sources tell the Daily Mail that the palace will remain stoic.
"We are not going to be blown off course by squalls from across the Atlantic," one source said.
Other insiders are baffled at what else Harry and Meghan could reveal.
"It's likely to be a difficult few weeks but really after that what on earth more can they have to say?" an insider asked.
The source added that the Sussexes risk "hawking around the same complaints on talk shows and documentaries".
"Surely a time will come when even they realise they have got to get on with their lives? The rest of the family certainly want to."
Meanwhile, royal sources said that King Charles and Queen Camilla are becoming "wearied" by the repeated allegations made about 'The Firm'.
They added that "magnanimous and very deliberate gestures" had been made to include Harry as much as possible in the late Queen's funeral in September, including asking him to don his military uniform during a family vigil around his grandmother's coffin.
Palace insiders were also keen to point out the irony in the Sussexes media appearances given their desire to stay out of the public eye.
Since the Oprah interview, Meghan has started a podcast and Harry has penned a memoir - thought to include many grievances about his family - which is due for release next month.
"It is very wearying," a palace source said.
Prince William is also reportedly growing tired of having to remain quiet as allegations are made against his family, with sources saying he will personally urge Harry to "back off" if material contained in the new docuseries is deemed false or misleading.
Palace officials are reportedly set to mount a briefing war and issue a swift rebuttal to any dubious claims made in the new show.
A well-placed source told the Express: "The Prince and Princesses’ team will wait to see what’s in the Netflix series before deciding what to do, but you can see the direction of travel.”
