S5 and S6 pupils at a Scottish school have been told not to return to school on Monday after the building sustained damage due to Storm Babet.
In a message posted on Twitter/X, Dundee City Council said that Harris Academy had taken “some damage” as a result of the extreme weather.
It said: “#StormBabet has caused some damage at @harrisacdundee, and as a result the school building cannot accommodate all year groups.

“All S5 and S6 young people should therefore not come to school for classes on Monday October 23.”
The statemen continued: “Teaching staff have been asked to upload work to the relevant class Microsoft Team as per the timetable.
“The situation will be assessed by relevant Council departments on Monday. The school is contacting those already affected directly and will continue to provide updates.”
It comes as the east of Scotland continues to be battered by Storm Babet.
However, the Met Office has said that the red weather warning which was originally in place until midnight on Saturday is now only in place until 6pm.
