A veteran police officer has described the chaos and mistakes that followed a deadly school jumping castle tragedy, saying unclear chains of command created confusion.

Tasmania Police constable Dean Wotherspoon was one of the first officers to attend the Hillcrest Primary School accident on December 16, 2021.
