Senior cop could only face lesser drink driving charge

A senior NSW police officer who allegedly crashed his car into a tunnel while drunk, could have a high-range drink driving charge thrown out.

The officer, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was charged with driving under the influence and high-range prescribed concentration of alcohol, or PCA.
