Today, New Jersey Democratic Senator Bob Menendez and his wife entered a plea of not guilty to new obstruction of justice charges in a New York court. This comes after their initial plea of not guilty to charges in October.
The couple is facing allegations of conspiring with three businessmen to accept bribes in the form of gold bars, cash, and a luxury car. These bribes were allegedly given in exchange for the senator's assistance in projects pursued by the businessmen.
