Senate Foreign Relations Committee Unanimously Advances Rubio For Secretary

The Senate Foreign Relations Committee has voted unanimously to advance Sen. Marco Rubio's nomination for secretary of state to the floor. Committee Chair Sen. James Risch announced that the final vote count was 22-0.

Sen. Risch praised Rubio's performance during his hearing last week, stating that Rubio provided a flawless presentation of American foreign policy in almost all areas. Risch encouraged Americans to watch the hearing to gain insight into American foreign policy.
