Sena MP Rajendra Gavit protests against potholes on Mumbai-Ahmedabad national highway, says don’t collect toll

MUMBAI: After the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena’s protest against toll collection, Palghar MP Rajendra Gavit of the Eknath Shinde Shiv Sena on Friday called for non-collection of toll on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad national highway as it is filled with potholes that have led to massive traffic jams.

At around 10.30 am Gavit along with party workers protested at the Khanivade toll naka on the highway, around 30 minutes away from Virar. Following the protest vehicles were allowed to move without paying toll.
