Republican Sen. John Thune expressed optimism about the upcoming Senate leadership election during a recent press briefing. Thune, hailing from South Dakota, is set to compete against fellow GOP senators John Cornyn of Texas and Rick Scott of Florida.
Thune conveyed his confidence by stating that he is 'feeling good' about his chances in the election. However, the competition is fierce, with Scott garnering support from various figures within the MAGA movement.
