Following a hearing on the attempted assassination of former President Trump, Sen. Roger Marshall, R-Kan., has called for the establishment of an independent nonpolitical commission to thoroughly investigate the entire crime scene. Marshall emphasized the importance of leaving no stone unturned in this investigation.
In addition to the call for the independent commission, Sen. Marshall also urged the commander-in-chief to promptly appoint a crisis leadership team to oversee the Secret Service. He expressed his lack of confidence in the current leadership and stressed the need for a significant overhaul to ensure adequate protection for President Trump and other high-profile individuals.
