During a private event, Senator JD Vance, the Republican vice presidential nominee, expressed his views on Kamala Harris potentially becoming the Democratic nominee for president. Vance referred to Harris entering the race as 'a little bit of a political sucker punch,' indicating the impact of her candidacy on the political landscape.
Vance highlighted the contrast between Harris and former Vice President Joe Biden, noting that Harris, being younger, does not carry the same baggage as Biden. He acknowledged that Harris is not facing the same struggles as Biden did during his campaign.
