Semi-automated offside technology to be used in FA Cup ahead of planned Premier League introduction

EPL FA FA Cup the Premier League

Semi-automated offside technology will be trialled in the fifth round of the FA Cup, with a view to it introduced in the Premier League before the end of the season.

The FA has agreed to use the new technology in seven of the eight fifth-round ties that take place at Premier League grounds.
