'Selling Sunset' Season 10: Everything We Know

Selling Sunset returned for season 9 on October 29, and as usual, there’s never a dull moment at The Oppenheim Group. In between managing luxury real estate deals for stars like JoJo Siwa and Tinashe, the show’s central cast of agents dealt with their fair share of drama. The season began with cast member Nicole Young being dismissed from the office after feuding with co-stars Chrishell Stause and Emma Hernan. But that was hardly the only feud: Mary Bonnet and Chelsea Lazkani fell out after Mary questioned how genuine Chelsea really was, and tensions flared between new agent Sandra Vergara and Chrishell after Chrishell’s assistant claimed that Sandra once keyed her car.

During filming, the cast was also rocked by the tragic January 2025 L.A. wildfires, which damaged or destroyed more than 18,000 residents’s homes. By the end of the season, the office’s star employees had firmly split into two separate friend groups, setting the stage for an all-out war in the future. By the end of the "brutal" season 9 reunion, battle lines were clearly drawn, and viewers were left wondering if the cast had hit a breaking point.

So, will Selling Sunset return for season 10? Keep reading to find out what to expect from reality TV’s buzziest agents.

Is 'Selling Sunset' renewed for season 10?

Not yet! Netflix has yet to announce a renewal for Selling Sunset. In the meantime, the cast has thoughts about the series’s future.

During an October 13 interview with TooFab, Nicole said that she feels like the show might “be past the point of no return.”

“I kind of think the show has run its course,” she added. “I think at certain times, it’s gotten a bit dark. You need to have these positive, fun, lighthearted moments as well…When [the show] seems like it’s just all dark, that’s kind of when we need to wrap it up…And I think we’re at that point.”

Nicole’s co-star Mary Bonnet disagreed, telling TooFab that although there “might have to be some changes moving forward,” she believes that Selling Sunset will get a season 10. “I think that the season is very, very good, and we’re going to have good ratings,” she said. “I don’t think [Netflix is] just going to drop [the show] for no reason.”

When would 'Selling Sunset' season 10 come out?

Right now, it’s anyone’s guess when Selling Sunset could return for season 10. It's possible that fans could face a lengthy wait for more episodes.

Who would be in the 'Selling Sunset' season 10 cast?

In the season 9 finale, Selling Sunset's main cast includes Chrishell Stause, Chelsea Lazkani, Emma Hernan, Alanna Gold, Mary Bonnet, Amanza Smith, Bre Tiesi, and Sandra Vergara. But following the reunion, some cast members are hinting that they may be done with the show for good—and Stause confirmed she, for one, won't return.

In an interview with Bustle published on November 7, the Traitors alum said that "Jesus Christ himself" could not convince her to return to Selling Sunset. "I’ve vacillated back and forth with this decision in the past,” she told Bustle. “I have to be honest—having come from nothing, it’s really hard to turn something like this down."

Chrishell continued, "I’ve gotten to a place where I don’t need the show financially....I’m lucky to have other forms of employment, because it’s no longer good for my mental health."

Chrishell also claimed that series creator Adam DiVello had been calling and texting her "100 times a day" asking her to return for a potential season 10. "If they do continue, I wish them the best," the reality star said. "If they do do another one, by then, I may not watch it. I don’t know. But I have no ill will toward the show. The show has given me so many opportunities, and I don’t want to be bitter about it, even though I’m leaving not in the way that I would’ve loved."

Chrishell reasoned that she can no longer tolerate working with Emma, whose boyfriend, Blake Davis, she alleges treats Hernan poorly and has racist, homophobic views. She also claims it was challenging to be on the show as the only publicly queer cast member, as well as to be going through IVF with her partner G-Flip (who identifies as nonbinary) during the filming process.

Shortly after the season 9 premiere, Chrishell alluded to Variety that she was struggling with her relationships with the cast members. Though she said she "liked" filming season 9, she hinted that "way it culminate[d] with the reunion" was a step too far.

"The reunion was so brutal. In that moment, I realized I will be done here going forward. I wish everyone the best, but this isn’t the place for me. It felt a little bit like a dog pile," she told the outlet.

When asked about Sunset's future and when the show will start filming again, she added, "I don’t know when they will start filming. I hope they never tell me."

Meanwhile, Hernan told US Weekly in early November 2025 that she isn't sure if she'll return if cameras start rolling on season 10.

"It's one of those things where we’ll see when the call comes. But I’m really happy with my life right now, and it’s been really peaceful. It was just such a refreshing feeling to be done with the reunion, because that was so emotionally draining," she said. "I’ve been just really enjoying my time on the East Coast. A lot of time with my family, a lot of time with Blake, and I can’t picture at this moment filming again. I’m really happy with where things are at, and we’ll see what happens."

It’s also unclear how much of a role Nicole will play in a potential season 10. At the end of Selling Sunset season 9, episode 3, The O Group bosses Jason and Brett asked Nicole to leave the Oppenheim office after her fights with Chrishell and Emma came to a head during Amanza’s Friendsgiving dinner.

According to Nicole herself, though, she was never actually fired from the company. She clarified the terms of her employment as an independent contractor in a Tudum interview published on October 29, explaining, “Not coming into the office and continuing to work and do business, that wasn’t a huge deal.” Still, she added, “That storyline was frustrating for me.”

She also mentioned that she’s currently preparing to move to Nashville, so it seems unlikely she’ll appear much in future episodes—but the reality star didn’t rule out a return to the silver screen entirely. “My new priority will be Nashville, but it definitely won’t be goodbye to L.A. real estate,” Nicole told the outlet.

What would 'Selling Sunset' season 10 be about?

If Selling Sunset returns for season 10, it's unclear what drama they might address on screen—especially if Chrishell doesn't return. It seems possible that they would need to address her departure in some form and how it affects the brewing civil war in the Oppenheim office.

Much of the off-screen drama that had brewed in the nine months between filming felt like it was percolating below the surface and reaching a head by the time season 9 premiered. For casual viewers who don't follow the social media between seasons, as mentioned above, Chrishell had a public feud with Blake, Emma's on-again, off-again boyfriend, in May 2025. At the time, she described Blake as Emma's "MAGA bf who told [her] pronouns are dumb and that he likes to use the N word."

Fast-forward to the October season 9 premiere, and Emma and Blake are seemingly back together. In Chrishell's Variety interview, she alluded to the fact that she ended her friendship with Emma after the couple resumed dating. "Over time, I had to understand that they are aligned, and that is her choice. But it’s not something that I want in my life," she told the outlet. "We were best friends—me, her, and Chelsea, who she also doesn’t speak to anymore. It’s a sad situation."

Meanwhile, speaking to Tudum on the day of the reunion's airing, Emma confirmed that "there’s been no progress" between her and Chrishell since the reunion.

She said, "I wish that there was some positive progress, but I’m okay with where things are at. Ultimately, I can’t change people’s opinions of anything, so I’m going to let it be where it is right now. It was very emotional at the reunion, and there were moments that were really, really difficult. Things are not where they were with Chrishell and [me], but ultimately, I really just want her to be happy. I hope that everything goes really well in her life, and I hope that deep down inside, she wants the same for me."

So, it's safe to say that potential season 10 storylines are anyone's guess, now that Chrishell has departed the series. How will the show address it? Will Chelsea stay and continue feuding with Mary? Or will both of their departures give way to a whole new set of drama in a potential season 10?

It's also possible that season 10 will not go ahead at all; remember, it has yet to be renewed. If that were the case, it's possible that the stars could join other Selling spin-offs. Only time will tell.
