Selling Sunset's Vanessa Villela is engaged to Tom Fraud after romantic LA proposal

Selling Sunset star Vanessa Villela has revealed she's now engaged to her boyfriend Tom Fraud.

The 44-year-old reality star's now fiancé got down on one knee at sunset at the Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles.

The romantic setting seen in movie LA LA Land has stunning views of the Hollywood sign.

"Two souls one heart! I SAID YESSSSSS," she shared with fans on Instagram.

Sharing a video from the spot with panoramic views of the city, Vanessa laughed with joy during their special moment.

Tom knelt on one knee as she read a message written on a number of red cards, with the last asking: "Will you marry me?"

Sharing the news with fans, the Telenovela star turned realtor wrote: "One year ago I met the man of my dreams the one makes my heart skip every time, the man that makes me better in every single way, the man that I respect, adore, admire, and love with all my heart.

"You came into my life when I least expected it and you came to make my dreams come true. Our love story is like a movie and you are my prince!!

"'I always dreamed that I will find someone that will love the way I do and I could give my heart fully, thank youuu for coming into my life mi amore!

"I can’t believe I manifested you, the man that is what I always dreamt and more, I can’t believe that I am living this life, sometimes I feel like I’m dreaming and I have to pinch myself to know that is a dream but in real life.

"You paint the stars in my heart and even when I think it can’t be possible to be better there you go painting more stars in it.

"You are my best friend, my man, my pajaro, my hero, my everything.

"TE AMO @tomfraud Thank you for making me the happiest girl in the galaxy. My future husband to be."

The actress joined Selling Sunset in series four and has been dating Tom for a year.

She previously dated Cuban actor Mario Cimarro but they split after four years together in 2013.

Meanwhile, Vanessa missed nearly half of the show's filming for the hit reality series as she was struck down by Covid-19.

The 43-year-old real estate agent tested positive for the the virus back in August just as production was to start on the Netflix Hollywood Hills Series 4.

And due to contracting a 'strong case' she was taken out of action for five weeks and is still plagued by symptoms due to suffering brain inflammation.

She told Page Six: "Out of 11 weeks of filming, I was sick for five. I got COVID in August and we started filming right in that moment, so obviously they couldn't wait for me."

She continued: 'I had a very strong COVID case. My case, it's still going actually.

"It's called long COVID. I'm still dealing with it."

Vanessa joined the cast of the hit Netflix reality show along with fellow newcomer Emma Hernan for season four, which premiered on November 24.

And despite since fighting back to fitness the star admits some of her illness symptoms have impacted on her work on the show since her return.

The Mexico City native said: "I was sick for too long and you're going to see a little bit of struggle with Vanessa in work."

Vanessa explained to Page Six that her brain inflammation can cause spells of dizziness and recalled one troubling on-set experience.

"I went to film one day after I "recovered" and while I was speaking, I started feeling like I was going to pass out and I started feeling super dizzy,' she said.

"They had to send me in an Uber to my house."

On October 17, she shared an Instagram post posed with Dr. Katherine Marie Zagone along with several images in which she was receiving oxygen and other treatments.

She praised her doctor, who is provided by Selling Sunset, and thanked the show for their support during her long road to recovery.
