Christine Quinn will no longer “have a place” in Selling Sunset’s Oppenheim Group, star Jason Oppenheim has confirmed. The news was revealed during Selling Sunset’s wild reunion episode which dropped on Friday (May 6) and featured a whole lot of hard truths.
Season five had ended with some shocking news, when it was alleged in the show that Christine had offered money to a client to not work with Emma Hernan anymore, the Metro reports. And a further bombshell was dropped when Christine didn’t show up to the reunion.
Fellow cast members were told Christine was absent due to contracting Covid, but suspicions arose after she was seen on a film set during the time that she was supposedly isolating.

And another bit of news that had to come out in the wash during the reunion episode - Christine’s job status following the incident. Fans noticed that the star’s bio on The Oppenheim Group’s website had been removed, and wondered if she would be returning to the show.
But Jason, confirming he had not had any contact with Christine since, revealed: "I would love to hear her explanation. I do believe there are sides to stories but at the time same time I don’t think it’s for debate that she did this. We’ve texted and we haven’t really addressed this situation. She hasn’t reached out to talk about it."
The star confirmed: "Right now there’s not a place for her at The Oppenheim Group. In the future, if she can take real estate seriously, if I can get her perspective of things, if she changes her behaviour, if she brings in a big listing, those are reasons where I would consider her having a place at the Oppenheim Group but I have to say right now there is no place."
The reunion also featured an emotional moment for Jason as he spoke about the end of his relationship with co-worker and co-star Chrishell Stause. The cast of the hit Netflix reality show were brought together for a sit-down interview with Queer Eye’s Tan France.
Jason, who is the president of the Oppenheim Group alongside twin brother Brett, on whether his and Chrishell's relationship was a “showmance”. He said: "I hesitate to answer that question because I don’t want to give any credence… it’s a stupid question to me. I don’t feel the need to explain to people."
As he became emotional he added: "There’s a lot of sadness and loss. I think watching the show made it more difficult - it brought it back up. It’s been a few months, but I’m still just going through stuff. I think there was a lot of love between us and there still is. I still care about her very much. This has been a very difficult break-up."
