Two new cast members of Selling Sunset have been revealed – after two original stars of the show were confirmed to be axed for the upcoming new seasons.
Model and real estate agent Bre Tiesi will be joining the series – and long-time Oppenheim group employee Nicole Young will be stepping into the limelight to take part in the show.
The hit Netflix reality series – which follows a collection of attractive real estate agents in Los Angeles who sell luxurious multimillion dollar homes – has already been running for five seasons.
It was recently announced that the show will be back from seasons six and seven – with the two new cast members offering a new level of glamour to the show.
Speaking to People, Nicole explained why she decided to take part in the series having previously opted to hide from the cameras.
She told the magazine: "Originally, I was a part of the main cast. Honestly, at the time, I just got cold feet right before they were going to start filming.
"I just wasn't ready to expose my entire life, and even more so, my clients and business — which I'm very protective of — to the entire world."
She added: "I've grown personally and professionally a lot. At the end of the day, it's an incredible opportunity and a rise-to-the-occasion kind of moment."
Meanwhile, 31-year-old Bre may already be known to some as the mother of one of Nick Cannon’s children – whit he pair welcoming a son in July this year.
A statement released by Netflix describes Bre as a “key player in the entertainment industry”.
The statement adds: “Her sharp understanding of Los Angeles's various components—from business to branding, Hollywood to homes—has allowed her to soar to stardom.”
The new additions come weeks after it was revealed original Selling Sunset stars Christine Quinn and Maya Vander won’t be back on the show.
Christine has reportedly been fired from the show after she paid a client to work with her rather than a fellow Oppenheim co-worker.
While Maya has made the decision to walk away from the show after spending time travelling between LA and her home in Miami.
Back in June it was confirmed that Selling Sunset had been renewed for at least two more seasons following the success of season five – which aired earlier this year.
Deadline reported in June: “Production on season six of high-end real estate series Selling Sunset, which follows the likes of Chrishell Stause, Christine Quinn and Mary Fitzgerald and their colleagues at The Oppenheim Group, will start later this summer.”
Meanwhile, there will be more real-estate drama later this month when spin-off show, Selling The OC, airs on Netflix on August 24.
