‘Selfish’ driver finds parked car covered in furious notes for ‘idiotic’ error

A furious homeowner has slammed a driver's ‘selfish behaviour’ after they blocked their skip from being collected - leaving them hundreds of pounds out of pocket. A Vauxhall Corsa is believed to have been parked in such a way that it prevented a home owner's skip from being lifted from his driveway.

The ‘selfish’ and ‘idiotic’ parking meant that the neighbour had to take matters into his own hands, apparently costing the fuming neighbour time and money in extra charges. The homeowner took to Twitter to share photos of how he decorated the car with angrily hyped-out pieces of paper with the words ‘SELFISH IDIOTIC PARKING!!!!’ typed out, and a long note left below.

Underneath the capitals, the notes reads: “Selfish idiotic parking!!!! Parking right next to a bulging skip that’s due to be collected today has cost me a lot of time and money. At 0803hrs this morning you parked in front of my property blocking an obviously bulging skip that was due to be collected today.

“I have spent hours knocking on every house and asking in the shop about the owner. It’s now 1400hrs and it’s still blocking the skip; I will now have to pay extra charges because of your selfish stupidity!!!!”

However, people have been left divided by the aggressiveness of the notes with some unable to make their minds up about whether the person who taped the notes outside the home on East Prescot Road in Dovecot was in the right or wrong. One person wrote: “It’s not illegal to park in front of somebody’s property.”

The car was plastered with several angry posters criticising the parking (Twitter/@ryanmilner93)

Another person added in response: “Unless it was blocking a dropped kerb. They never made that clear.” But one person pointed out that the heat could have melted the duct tape onto the car, reports Liverpool Echo. He said: “Won’t be easy getting that duct tape off with the heat melting it.”
