Whether it’s Michelle Keegan’s favourite £13 moisturiser or the exact lip shade Jenny ‘The Vixen’ Ryan has been wearing, when it comes to celebrity skincare and makeup, we want to know it ALL. If it’s good enough for TV royalty, it’s good enough for us, right?
Quite often, products used on famous faces can come with an eye-watering price tag, but a makeup remover singer Selena Gomez swears by comes in under a fiver. We love to see it.
The actress revealed the secret of her perfect complexion in a TikTok video earlier this week, using a £3.66 micellar water cleanser to remove her makeup.

In the video the Skyscraper singer showed off her daily beauty regime, cleansing her face and eyes with Bioderma Sensibio H2O - Micelle Solution, which is currently £3.66 for a 100ml bottle at online beauty retailer Escentual.com.
In the video she is seen cleansing her face and looks shocked to see the make-up and grime that comes off her cheek. The 30-year-old actress then loads up an angled make-up sponge with the Micellar water and delicately cleanses around her eyes.
The fragrance and alcohol free product is suitable for sensitive, normal to dry skin, created to suit the needs of those who experience skin irritation and redness. The cleanser removes impurities using micelles, which micro-emulsify impurities while maintaining the skin’s balance.
Ceryn Lawless from Escentual.com said: "Selena has made an excellent choice, the Bioderma’s Sensibio H2O is a gentle cleansing water which can remove even waterproof make-up and is a favourite among make-up artists and French pharmacy fanatics alike. It’s really handy for removing make-up on the go, since it cleanses without needing to be washed off, and is also good for those who live in hard-water areas."
It should be pointed out that Selena's pre-cleansing trick is to use La Mer's Concentrate serum, which comes in at an eye-watering £170 for just 15ml, but perhaps those of us who aren't multi-millionaire singer/actor/producers can skip that step.
She follows the makeup remover with the Dermalogica Multi-active Toner, which is £12 for a 50ml bottle at Escentual.com. Selina sprays the toner onto a makeup remover pad and gently works the product in tiny circles.
After the cleansing and toning, Selena's skincare routine gets quite a bit more expensive again as she applies a few drops of La Mer Renewal Oil, which is £185 for 30ml, followed by Tacha Water Cream £63 for 50ml, and Radian C Cream by Laneige £23 for 30ml.
The total price for Selena's cleansing and toning regime comes in under £20. But when you add her moisturisers, it jumps up to £456, but for us mere mortals there are several budget creams on offer, of course.
If you want to try Selena’s skincare routine out for yourself, you can shop the £3.66 micellar water here.
