Interest for the 2023 Grand National is building, with a number of contenders gaining momentum ahead of Saturday afternoon's big race at Aintree - and we have given you a helping hand if picking a horse is proving tricky.
In terms of popularity, the Grand National is renowned as the blockbuster race in horse racing, held on Saturday following an action-packed three days of racing at Aintree.
The current favourite for the race is Corach Rambler, but with 40 runners in the mix, it will be an exciting spectacle with the last year's champion Noble Yeats looking to defend its crown.
Lucinda Russell’s horse had already won the Ultima Handicap Chase on the opening day of the Cheltenham Festival. She aims for a second National winner having previously been victorious in 2017 with One For Arthur.
Also competing in the race is Delta Work, who won at the Cheltenham Festival, and is second favourite. Back on the Lash, owned by Harry Redknapp, is also in contention.
You can also get value for money with the likes of Gaillard De Mesnil and Any Second Now sitting just behind the favourites.
