SEGA has released a new launch trailer for SEGA Football Club Champions, which is available today on Steam, PlayStation, iOS and Google Play. The free to play football club management sim includes licenses for more than 5,000 real players through partnerships with FIFPRO, the J-League, the K League and Manchester City FC.
Player data is built using the Football Manager database and adapted into a different style of club management experience. Players can jump into Career Mode to take full control of a team, handle decisions on and off the pitch, and work toward building a top club. There is also Dream Team Mode, which introduces cross platform competitive play against others around the world through various event based match types.
The game is the latest entry in Japan’s long running SakaTsuku series, which has been part of the sports management genre for more than 30 years. Players can build a club from the ground up or take charge of an existing team, overseeing everything from scouting and youth development to facilities and training programs. Progression is driven by long term planning, smart roster decisions and climbing the league ladder through consistent results.
