It’s that time of year again where NFL athletes post photos and videos of their offseason workouts for all to enjoy. The latest came by way of New York Giants running back Saquon Barkley.
And what can even be said? Barkley looks like a machine carved him out of brick. See for yourself:

Barkley has endured three less than stellar seasons, each of them plagued by or hindered due to injury. In 2019, he dealt with some ankle injuries but still managed to put up 1,000 yards. However, 2020 brought different fortunes as Barkley sustained a torn ACL early in the season and was forced to miss the rest of the year.
Coming back in 2021, Barkley didn’t quite look like himself. There was still some ACL hangover when the former Offensive Rookie of the Year again sustained an ankle injury. He also spent a brief amount of time on the Reserve/COVID-19 list.
Despite it all, Barkley has continue working and appears to be in the best shape of his life. He’s determined to get his career back on track this coming season, but wants to make sure his doubters stay on their side of the line.
“I think I said it before, when the tables turn, just make sure you’re on the side of that table. Just stay on that side,” Barkley told reporters in early June.
“I’ll tell you, I feel a lot better than I felt at this point last year,” Barkley said. “My body feels good. My body feels strong. Feel like I got my strength back. Feel like I got my speed back. Feel like I can trust my knee again, trust myself to make plays and not think about it.
If Barkley can play as good as he looks this season, that will mean only good things for Brian Daboll, Daniel Jones & Co.
