The Cleveland Browns, in-state rivals of the Cincinnati Bengals, recently made huge headlines by unveiling their own alternate white helmets.
Those alternates were well received and, truthfully look pretty good, but it didn’t go unnoticed that the Browns announced this so soon after the Bengals did the same thing with their own widely praised white alternates.
Those Bengals and Browns, by the way, have a pretty contentious history when it comes to jerseys…and pretty much anything else. The subject of copying each other’s jerseys dates back to the foundation of the franchise.
Cincinnati’s social media team took the chance to capitalize on these past hostilities with some timely posts, while the Browns and fans everywhere weighed in, too.
