Video game lovers are in for a treat with the opening of a new gaming arcade in North Tyneside.
The Arcade Warehouse has opened its doors at the Royal Quays Outlet Centre in North Shields, offering family entertainment with a string of retro and modern arcade games, PCs, consoles, virtual reality (VR) sets, pool, air hockey and basketball.
These pictures show what the venue looks like inside, equipped with around 60 to 65 machines.

Entry to the site is £8.95 for two hours and all machines are set to free play, which means people can play as much as they want during their time slots. Under 5s are free.
The site also has a cafe area and offers party and private hire packages.
Caton Airey, who set up the gaming arcade alongside business partner Dan Rees, said: "We had a soft launch party before fully opening up. It went well and the feedback was really good.
"We've got a range of driving games, football games, a basketball machine, dance machine, some favourites like Mario and Sonic Olympic Games, and virtual reality games, which are most popular."
In February, the team opened a gadget shop - My-G Gadgets Gizmos and Gaming - just a few doors down at the Royal Quays centre.
And they say the new gaming arcade and gadget store will help to attract more people to the area, which also has Inflata Nation and Gutterball Alley nearby.
Caton, 37, said: "The arcade has something for every age group. It's just a great way to get the family out, all playing together."
It is recommended that sessions are booked in advance. The arcade is open from 11am to 7pm Sunday to Friday, and 11am to 9pm on Saturdays. More details are available here.
