The incident occurred around 2 a.m. local time, prompting a response from the police. The wounded guard was found outside the gate of the residence and was swiftly transported to the hospital in serious condition, as confirmed by Inspector Paul Krawczyk of the Toronto Police during a press briefing.
While the security guard continues to receive medical care in serious condition, details regarding the presence of Drake at the time of the shooting were not disclosed by Krawczyk. However, he mentioned that law enforcement officials are in contact with Drake's team and are actively participating in the ongoing investigation.
