Secretive sect fires back at poll interference claims

A Christian sect accused of swarming polling booths with busloads of volunteers during the federal election has launched a scathing counterattack on its critics.

The Plymouth Brethren Christian Church has been under scrutiny for the actions of its members during May's campaign, when dozens of its members appeared at booths to hand out material for the Liberal Party.
