Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona recently expressed deep concern over the increasing incidents of antisemitism targeting Jewish students at various U.S. colleges and universities. In a letter sent out on Friday, Cardona highlighted the disturbing trend of Jewish students facing physical assaults and harassment on campus simply because of their religious identity.
Reports have surfaced of students encountering acts of violence and intimidation, with some returning to their dorm rooms only to find hateful symbols like swastikas displayed on their doors. Cardona unequivocally condemned these actions, emphasizing that such incidents are completely unacceptable.
