How to play viral word game Wordle
If you're tired of seeing those yellow, green and grey squares all over Twitter and want to join in with the Wordle fun, don't fret. It's quick and easy to get the hang off, and you'll soon be bragging about your streaks and low-guess scores.
You have six chances to guess a random five letter word — yes, it's completely random.
For each guess you make, the letters will turn yellow, grey or green. Yellow letters mean the letter is in the winning word, but in the wrong spot. Letters that turn grey mean that they aren't in the final word at all.
And, green letters mean the letter is correct and in the right spot for the winning word, so don't change that for your next guess.
If all the tiles turn green upon guessing the word in any of the six goes, you've got it right and won the day's Wordle puzzle.
You'll then be offered the chance to share your results on Twitter and it's at this point that you'll see the green, yellow and grey boxes.
