Secret Service Unavailable For Briefing On Trump Rally Shooting

The Secret Service was not available for Saturday night's news conference regarding the shooting at former President Donald Trump's rally in Pennsylvania, as confirmed by FBI Special Agent In Charge Kevin Rojek. During the late-night news conference at the Butler Township Police Department, law enforcement personnel frequently redirected questions to the Secret Service.

Following the incident, House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer reached out to the Secret Service for a briefing and urged Director Kimberly Cheatle to participate in a hearing.
