A U.S. Secret Service agent assigned to Vice President Kamala Harris was removed from duty after engaging in a physical altercation with other agents at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland. The incident occurred while Harris was at the Naval Observatory but did not impact her departure from the base, according to the Secret Service.
Anthony Guglielmi, the chief of communications for the U.S. Secret Service, described the incident as a 'medical matter' and stated that the agency would not provide further comments. The agent in question began displaying distressing behavior, leading to their removal from the assignment while medical personnel were called.
