Four cars have been set ablaze in a spate of fire raising incidents this week.
Police officers investigating the fires are appealing for the public’s help to catch the culprits.
We reported earlier that the first incident happened around 9pm on Monday, at Martin Brae in Livingston.
A blue Hyundai Tucson car was driven into a black BMW 1 series car parked outside a property and then set alight.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service quickly extinguished the blaze.
The Hyundai was extensively damaged, while the BMW suffered more minimal damage.
Two men, both described as being in their 20s and dressed in dark clothing, were seen leaving the street in the direction of Kestrel Way after the incident.
On the same night a Vauxhall Corsa was set on fire in Glendevon Park, Winchburgh at around 11pm.
A Skoda Karoq parked next to the Vauxhall was also damaged as a result of the fire.
The suspect in this incident is described as around 5ft 8ins in height, of slim build and wearing dark clothing.
Detective Sergeant Keith Sinclair of Livingston Police Station said: “Luckily no-one was injured as a result of this incident, however the consequences of setting this fire could have been much more serious.
“I would appeal to anyone who was in the area of Glendevon Park around 11pm on Monday evening who witnessed anything suspicious, or anyone who has information regarding this crime to contact officers.”
