ORLANDO, Fla. — SeaWorld Orlando has announced more of its lineup for Howl-O-Scream, its after-hours Halloween event that starts early next month.
The third haunted house that the theme park has identified is called Blood Beckoning, and it features a siren named Scratch. “Beauty is in her blood,” the event website says. “You have just what she and her disciples need to sustain their allure. It’s racing through your veins right now.”
SeaWorld also shared a scare zone called Cargo Carnage (sinister presence in shipping crates) and a live outdoor show called “Sirens’ Song,” which will include special effects, hypnotic dancing and “spine-chilling savagery,” the site says. A show by the same title was included in last year’s Howl-O-Scream, the first one held at SeaWorld Orlando.
A themed bar experience in an underground warehouse is named Sirens’ Last Call and it features a signature drink called the Siren’s Kiss.
Previously announced houses include Captain’s Revenge — Drowned in Darkness with a ship’s cursed crew and Beneath the Ice, set in a snowy base camp.
Howl-O-Scream will be held on select nights between Sept. 9 and Oct. 31. Tickets are now on sale, with reduced, limited-time prices starting at $34.99. There are also multinight ticket packages available and deals that include evenings at SeaWorld and at its sister park Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, which its own version of Howl-O-Scream.
SeaWorld also will host Spooktacular, a daytime Halloween event with trick-or-treating that is included with regular park admission. Spooktacular begins Sept. 10.
