The Seattle Seahawks will make history when they take on the NFC West champion San Francisco 49ers on Saturday, in the 2023 NFL Super Wild Card Weekend. Seattle, as the No. 7 seed, will try to become the first team in this position to record a victory since the NFL playoffs expanded.
The Seahawks have had a rocky season, with late-season struggles and a 9-8 record. However, they were able to overcome those struggles and win their final two contests, earning their fourth playoff berth in five years. Meanwhile, the 49ers had a strong season with a 13-4 record and will enter the playoffs on a 10-game winning streak, and are led by backup quarterback Brock Purdy and a talented defense.
