The search for missing Scot Alice Byrne has entered its third week as cops continue to try and trace the care worker.
The 28-year-old had was last seen leaving a flat in Marlborough Street, Edinburgh, between 8am and 10pm on New Year’s Day.
Police believe Alice may have walked in the direction of Portobello's promenade and beach.
Her disappearance is described as “completely out of character” and cops have expressed growing concern for her safety.
Extensive searches have been carried out for Alice, with police drones drafted in.
Uniformed officers were also previously seen looking inside bin storage areas in a bid to find any trace the care worker.
But cops have confirmed enquiries are still ongoing to trace Alice - whose full name is Alathea - as the search enters its third week.
Alice is 5ft 6in tall and was last seen wearing a black top, black jeans ripped at the knees and white trainers.
She also has a distinctive bat tattoo on her wrist.
The public has been urged o check pictures, videos and dashcam footage from the area near the time of her disappearance.
A statement previously issued on behalf of her family read: "She [Alice] always keeps in contact with us so we are extremely worried because we have not heard from her. We are desperate to know where she is.
"If Alice sees this, we want her to know how much we miss her. We just want her home safe and well.
"We urge anyone who has seen Alice, or who has any information at all that might help police find her to phone officers and pass on any information you have."
