Search continues to find girl, 12, who has now been missing for three days

A search is continuing to find a 12-year-old girl who has now been missing for three days.

The girl, named only as Jessica, was last seen at around 3pm on Alexandra Road in Whalley Range on Tuesday (January 24). Police issued a public appeal for help to find her the next day.

Today (Friday), a spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said that Jessica was still missing. She is described as being around 5ft 4in tall and of a slim build.

She has shoulder-length brown hair and was last seen to be wearing royal blue coloured Nike trainers, light grey jogging bottoms and a deep purple hoodie with a black bubble jacket. Officers previously said they were becoming 'increasingly concerned' about Jessica.

Anyone with any information about her whereabouts is being urged to get in touch.
