South Australia Police are searching the state's far north for a man who has not been seen since Tuesday.
Queensland man Christopher Taylor, 40, was last seen on foot at the Innamincka Trading Post about 7pm on January 25.
Senior Sergeant First Class Sam Thorn, the officer in charge at Roxby Downs Police Station, said Mr Taylor had been camping in the area with a friend when he walked off.
"Police and his family are concerned for his welfare as Christopher lives with a disability and he may have become disoriented," he said.
"He often walks long distances and police believe he may have covered significant distance on foot.
"He may have been picked up by a passing motorist and we urge anyone who may have any information to come forward."
Mr Taylor is described as 178cm tall with a black beard and dark hair.
He was last seen wearing a dark coloured t-shirt, shorts and thongs.
Police with the assistance of STAR Group, SES, PolAir, local volunteers, station owners, SANTOS staff and the Royal Flying Doctor Service have conducted a land and air search of Coopers Creek, Strzelecki Track and Innamincka.
The search will continue until last light tonight.
Anyone travelling through the area who spots Christopher Taylor or has information on his whereabouts is asked to contact police immediately on 131 444.
