Seann Walsh has laughed about the 'overreaction' to his snog with dance professional Katya Jones while they were partnered together on Strictly Come Dancing.
The 36-year-old comedian has posted a trailer for his new show that will be released on YouTube at the end of the month, which is provocatively titled, "Kiss".
The comic posted a tweet with a video which he captioned: "Remember when I went on that dance show? Seann Walsh • Kiss • March 27th • YouTube"
In the video, Seann shares a number of derogatory reviews and tweets that have been aimed at him since the infamous moment he locked lips with Katya, while they were both in long-term relationships.
Among the quotes which he shared was a line from a GQ magazine review, which read: "I’d like to live the rest of my life without another thought to him and his wandering wand."
He also shared a number of tweets, with one reading: "Seann Walsh could quite possibly be the most unfunny t**t that ever lived.”
While another read: “Anyone who feels the need to stick an extra letter at the end of their name is usually a plank”
The video then cuts to Seann on stage as he tells the audience: "Three years since Strictly Come Dancing. I think I can say it now. I think you overreacted."
Seann appeared on the BBC dance competition in 2018 but just a few weeks in, a video and photos of him kissing Katya were published, which caused a media frenzy for a number of weeks.
Popularity for the comedian quickly waned with viewers and he was voted off the show in week six, with many not forgiving him for the furore his snog with Katya had caused.
Seann's relationship with actress Rebecca Humphries ended in October 2018 and was later reported that Katya and her husband, fellow Strictly pro Neil Jones, had separated as an indirect result of the clinch
While Katya appears to have moved on from the scandal, Seann admitted last year that he's still haunted by it and claims it "destroyed his dreams".
The comedian has said that his mental health is still affected by the 'kiss' and that he has full-body panic attacks.
Talking on the Take Flight podcast, Seann said: "I wanted to be a comedian my whole life and leave my mark. You have to have belief that you can do something special... and that had gone with the kiss.
"It was the first time I'd lived without hope.
"I felt like I'd destroyed my dreams, who I was and why I got up in the day.
"And it's still all I think about. What my life could have been. What I could have made of myself is gone. And what do you do?"
