Celebrity pals of Seann Walsh have been lining up to support him and urge people to vote for him.
The comedian, 36, was thrilled to survive the first vote off as it shows signs he is being given a second chance by the public following his Strictly Come Dancing snog with his pro partner which saw him dubbed a love rat as they were both in relationships.
Comedian Rob Beckett said: "Vote Seann Walsh. I’ve known Seann for 12 years. He’s a good bloke with a good heart. He’s made mistakes in the past like we all have at times. He’s got my vote."
And TV star and former I'm A Celeb winner Emily Atack said: "Seann – one of my best mates. I am TELLING you he is a f**king good man. Keep him in I'm A Celebrity."
In camp on Saturday night, Seann admitted to Chris Moyles he was relieved and happy to not be the first out.
Speaking about the vote off, Seann said in the Bush Telegraph: “I love it here and for me the goal was to not be eliminated first and er, I did it!”
Seann is now dating dance teacher and choreographer Grace Adderley, who is currently pregnant with their first child.
After landing in Brisbane airport she said she hoped this was a new chapter for her partner. He credits her with encouraging him to sign up.
She said: "I wouldn’t take the credit for saying it was my idea for him to go. He was obviously nervous about accepting it and I just said well people are going to say what they want about you regardless of whether you do this or not so you may as well just enjoy your life and say yes to these opportunities. It is such a fun life experience."
In 2018 Seann and pro partner Katya Jones on Strictly Come Dancing were pictured in a clinch on a night out when they both had partners.
Referring to the Strictly incident before he entered the jungle, which ultimately led to him splitting from then girlfriend Rebecca Humphries, he added: "People have voiced their feelings about me and I am hoping they will see I am very different. I want to create new memories.
“I want to make some new friends and new memories and have a nice time”.
I'm A Celeb returns to ITV1 tonight at 9pm.
