Yair Rodriguez failed to unify the featherweight titles on Saturday and came out on the wrong end of a one-sided UFC 290 main event against Alexander Volkanovski.
After spending years working his way to the top, Rodriguez (15-4 MMA, 10-3 UFC) could not complete the final piece of the puzzle, because he suffered a third-round TKO loss to Volkanovski at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
