On what was another jam-packed day of club action, Sean O'Shea lived up to every bit of his star billing by delivering a Hollywood ending for his club Kenmare Shamrocks in their Kerry senior relegation play-off against Austin Stacks.
The half-forward stepped up to nail a pivotal free from 48 metres out by the left sideline that helped to nudge them in front with his side ultimately triumphing by two points with the final score 3-11 to 1-15.
In total, he bagged 0-8 with five of them coming from placed balls as he showcased his prowess as the best free taker in the country despite playing in blustery conditions.

On the Austin Stacks side, it showcases how cut-throat the Kerry Championship is as just 11 months ago they'd won the Bishop Moynihan Cup.
Of course it doesn't take much slippage in Kerry to go from senior champions to intermediate since there's only eight senior clubs permitted across two groups.
But this is still a remarkable example of how ruthless the club scene is at the highest level in the home of the All-Ireland inter-county champions.
A former Kingdom 'star' in Kieran Donaghy did do his utmost to repel the charge led by O'Shea, Stephen O’Brien and Co.
The veteran full-forward caused havoc himself before having to be taken off for a spell after shipping a knock, during which time Kenmare really took over the contest.
The 39-year-old was then brought back in and helped Stacks mount a mini-revival until O'Shea's nerveless free from range put Shamrocks back in the ascendancy.
And despite there being nine minutes of injury time added on, they managed to pull off the upset that will ensure Stacks, one of the most prestigous clubs in the country, will be playing intermediate in 2023.
Scorers for Kenmare Shamrocks: S O’Shea (0-8, three fs, two 45s), S O’Brien (1-1), J McCarthy and D Hallissey (1-0 each), S O’Sullivan and P O’Connor (0-1 each).
Scorers for Austin Stacks: M O’Donnell (1-2, 1f), S Quilter (0-4 frees), D Mannix (0-4,1f), S O’Callaghan (0-3), J O’Shea and A Heinrich (0-1 each).
