Right tackle Rob Havenstein has been dealing with an ankle injury that has plagued him throughout training camp.
However, Havenstein participated in individual drills on Monday, igniting hope that he could be available for the Rams’ matchup against Detroit on Sunday night football.
When asked about the longtime Ram, Sean McVay had good news to share.
“We’re having contingency plans for either or,” McVay said of Havenstein’s chances of playing. “I think Wednesday I’ll have a much better idea. We’re going to use every day and that’s the truth, especially as it relates to him.”
With less than a week before Sunday night, Havenstein has a short window to get ready to play. However, things are as optimistic as they can be for Havenstein and the team.
