Sean McVay had some Rams fans in a panic this offseason after he expressed interest in potentially leaving coaching for a job on TV analyzing NFL games. He admitted that’s something he would like to do some day, and even set up a meeting with Amazon to potentially discuss a deal.
And according to one report, Amazon may have gone as high as $100 million for five years. That would be a raise from what he’s currently making, but it still isn’t close to what Tom Brady will get from FOX after he retires.
Brady will be FOX’s lead analyst and his contract is worth $375 million for 10 years. After being asked about his return to coaching on The Rich Eisen Show, McVay joked that maybe he should’ve thought twice upon seeing Brady’s deal.
