Everton boss Sean Dyche has delivered his verdict on Demarai Gray's performance against Nottingham Forest - and how Neal Maupay has responded to losing his place in the team for the 2-2 draw.
Winger Gray was given the nod to lead the Everton line at the City Ground and scored the opening goal of the game from the penalty spot. Brennan Johnson equalised for Forest and did so again after Abdoulaye Doucoure had put the Blues back in front.
Dyche must now decide who starts up front for Saturday's home clash against Brentford. He could stick with Gray or recall out-and-out centre-forward Maupay, who has shown no "disappointment" at being dropped last weekend.

When asked how he felt Gray performed against Forest, the Everton manager explained in his press conference: "I thought he did well. We are asking him to change a little bit and he worked hard.
“Neal Maupay has worked great in training this week, he has got on with it, no disappointment there... Demarai showed signs of what he can do. He nicked himself a goal, albeit from the penalty spot, and I enjoyed his open-mindedness to it. He's played there before, but it's not always that familiar to him, and I thought he delivered a good performance."
Dyche also has youngster Ellis Simms to call on as a striking option while he also delivered an update of the fitness of the Blues' first-choice striker, Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
After doing that, Dyche was asked about how the sharply-dressed England international was doing mentally after another campaign plagued by injury.
He said: "He seems okay to me, shared a few fashion ideas, pointing me in the right direction!"
