Gio van Bronckhorst has no problem with Sean Dyche not ruling himself out of taking his job one day at Rangers.
While the former Burnley boss is giving himself time to find a job back at Premier League level, he says he'd be open to working further afield should an opportunity not appear at that level. But he wants Ibrox sporting director Ross Wilson - who he worked with at Watford - to invite him up for a taste of a derby match with Celtic.
His admission comes amid van Bronckhorst coming under intense pressure, having fallen seven points behind the Hoops in the title race with a 2-1 defeat to St Johnstone, facing off against St Mirren today. The Dutch manager insists he wasn't offended by Dyche's admission and insists the questions he is asked aren't his fault, with fellow gaffers flooding in with support for the Rangers boss.

Van Bronckhorst explained: “If you open up the papers especially in October and November you see a lot. It’s normal. Sean Dyche can’t do anything about the question he gets asked.
“I think because other managers know the pressure you feel in certain moments and many managers have reached out to me in the last couple of weeks. That’s so nice to have that support because people are talking a lot.
“That is normal because it’s such a big club, you are under pressure, there is negativity. So when you have top managers who have done it all reaching out to you it’s very good to have.
“The support is there. It’s part of football and the message is ‘keep going’. Many have said to just make sure I keep doing what I'm doing, I’m on the right track and not to get distracted by external factors.”
