Sean Dyche said he wants to create an Everton team that "fights and wears the badge with pride" in his first words as the club's new manager.
The 51-year-old was confirmed as Frank Lampard's replacement on Monday afternoon, 30 minutes before the start of his first training session with the senior team. He has signed a two-and-a-half-year contract, meaning that if he sees out that deal he will be the manager to lead Everton into the club's new waterfront stadium.
Former Nottingham Forest winger Ian Woan has joined as his assistant manager, ex-England international Steve Stone as first-team coach while Mark Howard will support the provision of sports science.
