Sean Combs Unpaid Legal Fees: What Happens to His $100M Lawsuit Now His Lawyers Want Out?

Sean 'Diddy' Combs' $100 million (around £75 million) defamation lawsuit faces a new complication after his civil lawyers asked a federal judge for permission to withdraw, alleging more than six months of unpaid legal fees and a breakdown in communication with the imprisoned music mogul.

The request does not automatically end Combs' case against Courtney Burgess, attorney Ariel Mitchell and Nexstar Media Inc. Instead, it raises an immediate question over how the lawsuit proceeds if Sher Tremonte LLP is allowed to step aside just as surviving claims move into their next phase.
