Seamus Power currently sits middle of the pack heading into the weekend on the PGA Tour.
The Waterford man is back in action just days after his big win at the Bermuda Championship last week.
And Power is well positioned heading into the weekend as he sits in a tie for 22nd.
Power hit an electric three under par front nine to be well positioned and birdies on 11 and 13 had him well sit to make a surge.
But two bogeys on the run in halted momentum as Power slipped down the leaderboard.
Power however would need a big surge on Saturday to launch himself into contention with Russell Henley top of the pile on 16 under par with Sam Ryder and WIll Gordon three shots behind.
