With that finish, both Lowry and Power took home a cheque for €360,000 ($385,000).

Along with the cash prize, both players picked up vital FedEx Cup points.

The Genesis Invitational took place once again at the Riviera Golf Club in California. As one of the newly 'elevated' events, the tournament had a massive $20 million total prize fund.

Elsewhere, Rory McIlroy saw his chances of winning the tournament disappear with a round of level par on Sunday. The Holywood man finished on 4-under-par for a T-29th finish and took home a cool €134,000 ($143,000) for his troubles.

The winner takes home a staggering €3.3 million ($3.6 million). At the time of writing, Spaniard John Rahm holds a slender one-shot lead over Californian Max Homa with four holes left to play.
