When the 2023 schedule was released, the Seahawks were only slated to play in three prime-time games all season. However, we got an extra Monday night matchup when the NFL flexed Seattle’s Week 15 game against the Eagles out of a Sunday afternoon time-slot over to MNF.
The move worked out well for the league and ESPN, as the game was a ratings hit. According to the Seahawks PR department, it drew over 19.4 million viewers – the best numbers for a Week 15 game since 2006.
The Eagles at @Seahawks delivered an audience of more than 19.4 million viewers, becoming the most-watched Week 15 MNF game in the ESPN era (2006 – present). The game ranks as MNF’s fourth most-watched game of the season and ESPN’s seventh most-watched game since 2006. #GoHawks

The Seahawks have the league’s best all-time record in Monday night games (31-12), and they’re now 14-4 under Pete Carroll.
Hopefully next year we’ll get to see more prime-time games for Seattle, but that may depend largely on how they finish this season.
