Seahawks announce they’ve cut undrafted rookie QB Levi Lewis

The Seattle Seahawks announced they have waived rookie quarterback Levi Lewis, who went undrafted after playing his college ball at Louisiana-Lafayette. That leaves three quarterbacks on the roster: Geno Smith, Drew Lock and Washington’s Jacob Eason.

Seattle’s roster currently stands at 90 players – but they have room for one more thanks to the exemption they get for linebacker Aaron Donkor.

No corresponding move has been made as of yet to fill that spot. Some of the free agents they’ve brought in recently include Damontae Kazee and Mario Addison. However, both have already signed with other teams.

Their most recent visitor was former Bengals and Vikings safety George Iloka, who worked out for the team on Thursday.
