Sea creatures at Blackpool Sea Life have got into the Halloween spirit this October as several tanks were 'spookified'. Last week, the tanks will be filled with dozens of Halloween accessories including pumpkins of all shapes, sizes, and colours.
The Jack O' Lanterns will be carved will all sorts of frightening faces and designs which also have fish treats placed inside to encourage the occupants of the tanks to get in amongst the spooky fun. Enrichment such as the addition of new objects to the tanks help to keep the creatures engaged with their environments as they would in the wild.
The addition of the tanks will mean the fish will be encouraged to explore their environment in a different way. It will also provide lots of weird and wonderful entertainment for visitors.
Over 180,000 creatures living in themed habitats at Sea Life with it being the world’s largest family of aquarium in over 50 locations across the world. The attraction has many features such as underwater tunnels and up-close encounters to enable guests to see sea creatures without getting wet.
